Is there always going to be updates for the Tonal balance Control unit following the different versions of Ozone? In this video it is version 9 and todays music changes in tonal balanance over the years. Otherwise it is meaningless with these constant updated versions of Ozone, everybody has not the economy to always buy a new version of Ozone. 😅

TLDR RX11 is better at everything. Which you would hope would be the case. That being said some audio pros have in the past said they prefer older versions of some plugins, like declip for instance. perhaps rx 11 has fixed all that.

While I find it to be a very useful tool, I was hoping for more advanced features. Particularly when comparing it to Adobe Enhancer's capabilities in dialogue noise reduction. For now, I'm using both tools and that might be the best solution after all.

Hello Guys from izotope I bought the complete thing and sadly at the end i got no clue how the Chain would be. For example i record myself into the daw and the only plugin i put on the vocal line is antares, on the other lines are my not rendered drum mix with a ruff mix. So how is the order? can i now put nectar directly on the vocals? or do i has to render the whole song first? i cant find a tutorial on your channel where you explain it. The end result is i got everything in my projeck, put izotope 10 on the master and let it run xd. please tell me a link for detalied description in which order i has to use the programms.

Great video!! But at 11:52 there's a very confusing explanation, and perhaps even wrong. Saying the knee goes from smoothing out between not compressing at all below the threshold and compressing at the chosen ratio above it" seems contradicting, since u cannot compress below the threshold. A better explanation in my opinion is: Hard Knee: This creates a sharp and abrupt transition. Signals just above the threshold get compressed heavily, resulting in a more noticeable effect. Soft Knee: This creates a gradual and smoother transition. Signals near the threshold get compressed slightly, leading to a more transparent and natural-sounding effect. I hope this helps anyone else who might have gotten confused by this! And thank you for the video, I just had to clarify

Could you point me in the right direction of how to remove distant plane sounds from my audio recordings. I'm filming looped nature videos of rainfall or a slow moving creek or river. I mostly just try to cut out the plane sounds but it would be helpful like if I could find some way to remove the faint plane sounds from my recording. Trying to figure out How many hertz I guess that's the frequency that a jet airplane or plane makes so I can block it out with a low pass filter. Because I can't see the plane sound on the spectragram so I'm trying to figure out how many hertz it is to remove it. Or maybe you know what would be the best way to remove it

I bought this for field recording nature sounds. wish you guys would make a tutorial for people like us. And there's hardly anything on UA-cam nothing good at least. Payed $270 for this thing and can't even use it. I taught myself adobe premiere pro and DaVinci reolve so it's not like I'm some idiot this is just more advanced, would be nice if you had tutorials or at least some help for people that use it for field recording but there isn't any.

Everytime run the smart assistant, the dynamic EQ oicks those same two freq that it draws down and then it puts a shelf up high. Every single time. So if that is to allow the maximizer to work more efficiently and it dies it every single time anyway, why not build that into the maximizer and have that as a controllable feature? It seams odd to have that as a default setting that AI ways applies to one module that helps another module? Maybe just buold it in to Maximizer so the dynamic Eq can be used for your music and not a different modules efficiency.

Huge improvement from Ozone 9. Actually, the whole of iZotope production tools is improved more than I expected. I just finished my first mix relying entirely on either Neutron or Nectar. LOVE IT and at a fraction of the time. I was not able to do that with previous versions.

Having used RX5 to clean up audio files... I'm surprised (and pleased) to hear that the new versions have these capabilities. (These issues of 'not sounding the same on Spotify / iTunes' are very familiar to me, from the albums I've been a part of..) I'd love to be able to make tweaked / optimalized versions of my music. I found the visual representation of the spectrum very intuitive - to understand what's going on, and to interact / edit too. Really interested to see how well things can be cleaned up -- (unfortunately, pretty much everything is out of my price range due to long-term financial situations.. But 'when my ship comes in'... (Presuming it hasn't stranded on a reef, and the late captain Isn't surrounded by Snorkles...)...) -- Love these videos, by the way. The details of how professionals use these tools is very enlightening to me, and - at the very least - helps me in understanding what to look out for in music production. (Sort of teaching myself everything I need.. Mostly when I encounter the next problem.. And the next.. And the next... It's paying off, though) Having AD(H)D, a lot of interfaces look daunting to me, and I'm overwhelmed by the choices and knobs and dials and settings. iZoTope have done a wonderful job in reducing visual complexity, while expanding capabilities.

I used iZotope RX 10 Advanced in conjunction with Adobe Audition 2024 and everything worked normally. This week I decided to update the RX to version 11, however, the audio volume during playback is very low. Previously I played the audio opened in Adobe Audition to the RX 10 through the RX Connect plugin and when playing this audio on the RX the volume was the same. Now with version 11 of RX the audio is played at a much lower volume. I accessed the RX 11 settings and verified that there are now controls to adjust the audio output volume, I adjusted these controls to 0dB, but even so the volume is much lower than in Adobe Audition. Can you tell me what could be causing this problem? I wouldn't want to have to go back to version 10 of RX.
